6 Things We want to be Added into FIFA 22

In this article, we discussed the NEW FEATURES WE WANT to be ADDED in FIFA 22! New story mode, New cutscenes, Empty stadiums, VAR, More player animations, New practice arena is the 7 Most Requested Features that the FIFA community has wanted for a while! What other features would you like to be added to FIFA 22?

New Cutscenes

In FIFA 21, there weren't various cutscenes in the outer world added besides the next-gen bus and fans entering the stadium Cutscene. The next-gen trailer had so many cool outer world cinematics like the fans crowding the stadium, tunnel cutscene, and pre-match cutscenes but none of these were added into the game at all. These cutscenes could be implemented into FIFA 22, and more realistic cutscenes should be added. Cutscenes like players arguing, a stretcher cinematic, player walking into the tunnel after being sent off, managers fighting ETC. These ideas would definitely appeal to more FIFA players and add realism. A great example is PES. Konami adds so many cool cutscenes into their game. If only EA Sports creates more cinematics, it would definitely not make the game more repetitive.

VAR

VAR is another feature that many FIFA players want to be added. EA had spoken on this matter before and said they definitely would not be adding it in FIFA 21 DUE to their system. EA's system already detects whether there is a foul or not but just having a cutscene where match officials discuss the situation would be phenomenal. Hopefully, we do see it in the game. EA would not add it into the game, but hopefully, they do surprise us one day. It would be good if EA can add this feature into the game before Konami does; otherwise, things would not look good. If EA could see a small cutscene of VAR in the game, it would be great, but it could be added to another FIFA.

Empty Stadiums

EA has teased us multiple times where they had no fans in the stadium but never added this feature into the game. They have recreated many goals in empty stadiums and had a next-gen pre-match empty stadium cutscene, but of course, we did not see this feature get added in FIFA 21. Hopefully, EA adds it as a special kick-off game mode since this pandemic would be here for a while. There are many mods where you can have no fans in the game, and this definitely adds a new realistic feature to the game. We will see similar gameplay like this if EA plans to add a "No fans in the stadium" mode. This looks way more realistic. FIFA Online 4 has no fans in the stadium, so that we could be getting this feature in FIFA 22. But it's not confirmed as yet.

Player Animations

Another idea is to add more player animations as they did in the next-gen gameplay of FIFA. It was definitely cool to see this. Small changes like this make the game less boring, and by adding these tiny details, the game would be much better. Animations like talking to teammates, angry players, a player falling ETC. It would definitely amplify the game a bit more. PES is also a good example of this. They add way more Animations and cutscenes into their game than EA Sports. Each year EA does add more Animations and cutscenes, but it's not that much at all. Hopefully, they impress us on next-gen consoles. EA added more details on next-gen in FIFA 21, so we could see way more features and Animations in FIFA 22 than before.

New Practice Arena

EA needs to remove this basic practice arena and just change it to a stadium or better arena in general. We've had this Arena for far too long. This arena was added from FIFA 19. This means We've had it in the game for 3 years. The older FIFA arena's practice arena in general. Even the other modes in the old practice areas have been removed, so it would be good to add them back to the game. Another idea that would be cool is choosing which stadium we can have the practice arena as.

New Story Mode

A new story mode needs to be implemented since volta was a complete disaster in FIFA. The volta mode is hardly even played by the community and needs to be replaced with another new concept. The return of Alex hunter has happened. The game was far more interesting and fun in general with the journey. More players were engaged in the content of the game when the journey was present. We need something similar to that type of story. It added far more interesting matters in the "Life as a footballer." We also experienced outer world content for the first time in FIFA history. The journey characters remain in the games database, so that's a good sign we could potentially see this mode returning. In Jun, we should know what to expect in FIFA 22 since EA play would occur. Hopefully, a new game mode appears in the game.
